my Social Media history
As funny as it is when I was 12 years old I was a die hard Belieber (Justin Bieber Fan). The details are not important but I wanted to bring it up because its funny and it still is relevant it what I'll be talking about. I knew my audience. I grew the account by knowing what the followers wanted to see and I followed the trends to gain engagement thus growing the account.
Our Goal
The main goal of being on social media as a Real Estate brokerage is to be front of phone essentially just as you all say you want to be top of mind. Everyone is always scrolling on their phone, why not use it to our advantage. We want our agents to be the face of our social media. We have such a diverse group of amazing people and its time to show you all off! Our goal is to be the go to source for Real Estate in the Westman, Norman, and the South-Western Saskatchewan regions.
WHo is our audience
From monitoring the analytics on Meta Buissiness Suite , on Facebook and Instagram, I have found that our audience is 64.7% woman and 35.3% men. Age range favoring the 25-45 year old ranges.

We want to create a consistent online presence that feels relatable, is entertaining, and that adds value to the followers life in one way or another.

They go to social media for entertainment, to socialize, & for education & inspiration.

We want to show our agents being real, & showing their true personalities. We want to be a source where others are sharing our content to their friends and family. We want to share more into what our agents do day to day, and also educate the public on the business you all do (not just emailing and showing houses, lol which unfortunately some people believe is all it takes to be a realtor.
How to Grow
Organic engagement is the best way to grow our socials and is essentially free advertising. To create organic engagement you must be able to build a relationship with your followers. You want it to feel like the posts are being geared toward them and as if you are almost waiting for a response.
To create engaging posts there are a few key points that work best:

Mostly all social media platforms have been taken over by the short form video content. Peoples attention spans are at an all time low. Our average watch time on the videos posted from our Facebook and Instagram is on average only 4 seconds before they click out and move to the next.
Facebook: Now mostly picture / video oriented (short form and long form).
Instagram: Mostly carousel posts (with multiple pictures to scroll through), stories, and reels (Portrait style short form videos)
Tiktok: Short videos geared to share information or to make you laugh.
Youtube: Has moved to incorporating the reel style video (as have all the other platforms), as well as longer style videos. When people go to youtube they are prepared to sit and watch a video.

This type of content is the fastest growing across all social media platforms as I have mentioned everyone's attention span is about 3-4 seconds. If there is not something to engage in those first seconds people will go to the next post. We will be implementing this content on all of our social media platforms.
view Retention & First Impresions
Our best performing videos are the videos of our agents talking and doing a tour or educating our followers. Slideshows over a minute and slideshows in general do not have great view retention.
First impressions are everything and if someone is not intrigued in the first 3-4 seconds then we will loose the chance for engagement. Our audience loves to see their family, friend, and or agent featured but in a way that is personal to them. By doing so they want to share and thus create more natural engagement.

Organic growth from our top posts
(Free Advertising)
Beef and barrel was our highest reach post because it evoked emotions of the those going there for so long. People shared the post to their friends and family creating a chain reaction from those all over Brandon and the surrounding areas.
Raj's post did so well because his friends and family kept sharing, commenting and interacting with the post. Get your friends and followers to act like your own little marketing army. Let your friends, family, and clients know that by doing something as small as liking or sharing your post can help you grow your business.
Most engaging posts
Our most commented on posts create the best engagement. When the Facebook algorithm sees a post with a lot of activity it brings the post up on the news feed and is shown to more followers. Our posts with the most comments is always those with a giveaway where commenting is how you enter to win. We will continue these with small business in our community to show our support and to broaden the reach of people & groups we are supporting / advertising.
People like to see agents do good things! The general public definitely has a stereotype for Real Estate Agents and we want to show the other sides of agents. I think it also makes it easier to post about doing good things when it looks like the company wants to highlight your well doing instead of you on your personal account. A good way to put out good things without looking like you are bragging or looking for applause. So let me know when you have a charity event or anything philanthropy wise that has a photo op!
Agent Involvement
To bring this idea to life we will need agent participation. I will have a list to keep track of how often each agent is getting posted and to try and be the most fair possible as choosing you all to be in tiktok's and other video posts.
I also will be reaching out occasionally for your help with content. For example I would love to create a series of posts on home maintenance and up keep but as I am sure you can tell I am not a home maintenance expert like many of you are. If you have any great tips I would love to share them!
The more willing our agents are to participate the better it will go for our growth. The more family and friends (Fans) we can reach the better. I call each of your personals followers fans because they show the same energy a fan club would in some instances and in the best scenarios help grow our page.
People want to see what you do day to day, evenings & weekends lol. You are all most likeable when you give the people a chance to get to know you! The public needs to be informed how hard you all work and they should see how you go the extra mile!
Agent Involvement & Media Days
I know how busy you all are and that you don't always have time to be in silly little videos or get your picture taken any random day. So moving forward we will be hosting "media days" to content batch. We will get all kinds of content like new headshots if you wish, video ideas I will need participants for, or any filler posts for our pages. We will book slots on the chosen days and whoever wants to participate may. Just know this is one of the best ways to get in front of your clients & new possible clients (for free). I will use this content for months at a time until it is time to do it again and get more content! Filler posts exampled:
This gives us a much more uniform and professional look thus we present ourselves as a trustworthy brand. These pictures can be used for many different types of posts but are valuable as everyone loves to see recent pictures of friendly faces! Especially when they maybe haven't seen anything but the same headshot online for years!
Trends
Trends are important to stay relevant and to keep moving with your audience. Majority of trends on tiktok are able to be created with a Real Estate twist and brought to all of our platforms. Trends need to be acted on quickly.
With that we will need good participation as I may ask if you have a couple of minutes for me to get footage day of to recreate the trend. The more you are in office the more you may be appearing in the trending video content. As I said I will try to be as fair as possible with who I use and how many times they are featured on the page but I am sure we will have some agents who want to be featured and some that dont.
Content
I will be managing the social medias as well as creating any marketing material you are looking for that I can help with!
This will be as my time allows as it is included in the fees you already pay. You can come to me with ideas or I would love to try to help brainstorm ideas on how you want to market a property.
I will also be offering videography & photography at a reasonable rate with a more open availability.
(please be kind and understand that things are not set in stone yet as we will be figuring out what works best and what does not :)
There will be a few different packages offered at different rates for example:
Listing Pictures: Using a DSLR, with editing and color and light correcting included
Reel Video: Portrait Mode, approx. 15-40 seconds, quick cuts, for stories or reel feeds (Will be posted by RLP)
Feed Video: Landscape Mode, approx. 30 seconds - 2 minute depending on the property (Will be posted by RLP)
Drone Video: Drone video of the exterior and land. Can use in reels and feed videos
Guided Tour: I will film you do a walk through of the home (think HGTV type thing) (Will be posted by RLP
